Here at Epidermis we have a philosophy. We know that skin care is not just a well needed and deserved treatment at our facility once or twice a month, but a daily routine, that if done together, gives you outstanding results. To that end, we have priced our services to allow you to receive the continuing care your skin requires, thereby achieving the optimum results in treatment that you have not experienced anywhere else.

Epidermis utilizes only the best skin care products and our goal is to help educate you on the proper maintenance and use of these. By combining knowledgeable home care therapy and facial treatments, together, we will create visible and lasting results. The Skin Lady - Michelle Cataldo

Michelle CataldoWhile on a trip to Europe, I commented on this woman's beautiful skin. She looked at me and said "Women in Europe have beautiful skin because they are taught to take care of it at a very young age, women in America are taught to wear makeup at a very young age". That comment never left my mind. Since that day, I have been determined to educate my clients and provide them with the most advanced treatments and product available to me.

I research many ingredients and procedures, I swear I missed my calling as a scientist. To determine what best suits your skin type and skin conditions, an initial consultation is the first step. My goal is to help educate you on skin care products and to recommend home care products that will bring your skin care treatments to its maximum potential. Combining home care therapy and facial treatments, together we will create visible and lasting results.

Michelle graduated from The Catherine Hinds School of Esthetics, Medical program and has continued her education with even more specialized advanced training in male and female anti aging treatments. She has worked and liaison’s with some of the most well known facial plastics surgeons in the Boston area.

Michelle believes every person deserves the healthiest skin possible. No matter what your skin has been through, she believes that it can be improved with the proper treatment and attention. At Epidermis & Co. Medspa, she is dedicated to providing superior skin care services to men and woman of all ages. Her goal is to help each client achieve and maintain healthy skin.

Male and female clients seem most satisfied with immediate results, not a tranquil spa experience. "They're so happy to look better because, many men and women have not cared for their skin or avoided sun exposure," she says. The weathered shingle look is definitely out. "I love my job and this industry; I feel it shows both in my client care and in my everyday life." Says Michelle.

"(Men) don't want the six-step skin care deal. The typical man has a two-step limit ... comes in and says, 'I have x, y, z, what can you do about it' - you do it and it's done."

Women are more cautious and rightly so, there are so many products and treatments available out there . I believe that is where I come in; I do the research for them. I am my own customer, with that said, I am careful as to who I choose to work with and who works on me. I prefer the best, why shouldn’t I…its my face and you have to put your best face forward. The highest compliment my clients can give me is the referral of their friends, family and business partners.

Karen specializes in helping individuals achieve subtle, long-term appearance changes, by balancing carefully selected amounts of preparations like Juvederm®, Radiesse®,Sculptra and Botox®.

A 1999 graduate of the Catherine Hine’s Institute Medical Esthetics Course, Karen was among the first in the Commonwealth to administer cosmetic treatments using LASER and Intense Pulsed Light. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1993, and practices under the supervision of Dr. George Chatson of North Andover, MA.

After performing thousands of treatments in a variety of medical and salon settings, Karen enjoys a perfect safety record, and hundreds of satisfied clients.
